We were asked to provide a new floor to this new build property in Sheffield. The customer asked for something light to improve the brightness in both the areas with a large amount of natural light, and the areas with very little natural light (hallway).

Project Requirements

As this was going in a kitchen, and the customer had a dog, they wanted a product that was durable and easy to maintain. The customer also required a product that would be compatible with a wet under floor heating system. We recommended the matt white oil engineered product as this would be compatible with the under-floor heating when installed with a flexible flooring adhesive applied directly to the screed subfloor.

Bespoke Additions

The customer also asked us to build in a custom size matt well to accommodate the large front door area. We framed this using some of the flooring and lined the inside with an oak trim to give a neat finish.
